can any tell me that in hra how much amt of rent i can show in my return. supoose i am paid monthly above 10 thousand . than what is the limit.

1. Actual HRA
2. 40% of Salary (50% incase of metro)
3.Rent Paid Less 10%salary

least of the above will be exempted balance is taxable
