29 July 2010 Hi all

Suppose a director ceases as on the date of AGM then whether his shareholding will be included in "Directors/relative of directors" part or will it be a part of "Other top 50 Share Holders" while filling Annual Return pursuant to section 159 of the Companies Act, 1956.

29 July 2010 Details of shareholding as on the AGM need to be specified. If he is not a director on that date and some non relative is a director then his shareholding wil not be included in Directors / relative of directors.

29 July 2010 From a combined reading of instructions to e-form 20B and clause 6 of part i of schedule V, I observe that the apt column is "Directors or relative of Directors".
