13 September 2013 While conducting annual general meeting a share holder proposes for the adoption of accounts of the company. While proposing so is it necessary that he should give such proposal in writing to the chairman of the meeting for adoption of accounts or he can just orally propose the same.

Yes, you can mentioned the name of such shareholder who has proposed the resolution for adoption of accounts, when you prepared the minutes of AGM.

The shareholders has right to propose the same.

13 September 2013 The question is whether the share holder has to make his proposal in writing or it can be a oral proposal during the course of meeting.
