Amendment of certificate required.

I would like to know, if company is originally registered in Service Tax dept. as repairs and maintenance services and then wanted to start Erection, Commissioning & Installation services later, Is the company required to amend the certificate with new services.

Yes, you have to apply in the department making addition of the same service in your Registration certificate.

ST-2 has to be amended. Now, amendment has to be done online. Procedure is as follows:-
1. Log on to www.aces.gov.in
2. Go to Reg -> Amend registration
3. Make necessary amendment that is add new service.
4. Upload the amended ST-1.
4. Take print out of that along with acknowledgement.
5. Submit amended form along with original ST-2 before the jurisdictional superintendent.
6. Amended ST-2 will get through e-mail.

Thank you for conformation, could you please confirm whether ST-3 return needs to be filed separately for each service or can it be one single return for entire 6 months. If yes i think payment also needs to be done separately.

Single ST-3 return will be filed for any number of services

Consolidated ST-3is filed. The details of collection for each service is separately submitted, but the tax payment and CENVAT credit availed and utilized are consolidted.

On line ST-2 will be unsigned , a colour print out has to be generated and to be got signed and sealed by the concerned officer so as to make it 'original(authenticated) certificate'.

Ok, and I have Not yet Amended Certificate by restoring Code (Registered in One Code), So Shall I take Sign Now or After amending Should take ?

Get it signed and sealed first, then try for amendment and repeat the process for amended ST-2 also.

Means Again I have to go to Department for Getting Signed From Concerned officers.
