18 May 2016 Proprietorship:Apart from regular id proof and address proof what are the additional documents required. to get the address amendment? Service Tax Authorities are asking for Bank Statements. For how many months? Bank Accounts are in old address. Only after getting address amendment in ST Dept change of address to Bank could be provided.

18 May 2016 If the proprietorship firm is in the name of the proprietor (i.e. no separate firm name is used) the PAN Card and any other acceptable address proof issued by the Central / State Government is sufficient. In case the business is carried on in a firm name, then Trade Licence in that name should be provided. The Department may also ask for proof of premises, i.e. municipal tax payment receipt in case of own property and rent agreement and receipt in case of rented premises. For an existing assessee no further proof is necessary and bank statements are irrelevant.

19 May 2016 you provide the govt deptt fee payment as the proof of address change, if take the building of rent then rent agreement and electric bill/ landlne bill in name of owner of the premises/municipal tax/ water bill etc
