Am i a shareholder?

10 November 2012 Dear Expert,

This may seem a strange query but I wanted to check if my Father in law is holding any shares of Reliance. He has lost his memory and has no papers or files that I can trace. He says that he had shares but forgot about them as the dividend was too low!

I have a feeling that he could still be a shareholder but is unaware of it.

Is there a way to check this. Unfortunately, I can't even say for sure which part/company of reliance this could be.

Would be most grateful for any help with this

I will suggest you to go to your RTA/DP and provide the name address and and DPID No./Folio no. On the basis of this they can trance the details of shareholders.
