Bord meeting - minimum 4 in a year, one in per quarter.

07 March 2010 How many AGM and Board meeting as per company low in a year what u/s of act 1956.

If Board Meeting not requierd or not possible when penalty atract, What U/s of 1956

07 March 2010 As per section 166 and 210
AGM should be held

1) 15 months time from last AGM
2) 6 months from the close of Financial year

Which ever earlier

Board Meeting
As per section 285
Must be held in
1) 4 times in year and
2) one in each quarter

Penalty
As 168 - Contravention of sec 166 not holding AGM is Rs 50000 and further fine of rs 2500 per day
