22 March 2011 is there any time within which the agenda should be placed or send to the directors of BM. which section deals with the same?

22 March 2011 No time limit is prescribed under the Companies Act for giving notice and agenda of Board Meetings.

22 March 2011 Agreeing with the view of the above expert, pl note that the Concerned section is 286 of the Companies act,1956. However, the articles of the company may prescribe such time-limit.

23 March 2011 SS is recommendory. However as a good corporate governance, reasonable notice shall be given of the Board Meeting alongwith related papers.
