Age for filing declaration vide form 15h

06 February 2014 What shall be the age for declaring vide form 15H as Rule 29C mentions the same as 65 Years or more while on various other places same is mentioned as 60 years including on CA Club India. Kindly Advise.

06 February 2014 Form 16H can be filed by person having age of 60 years or above.

06 February 2014 it is 60 years only wef from 1 July 2012
(refer section 197A(IC))

It seems that they forgot to amend Rule 29C. However, the Form 15H has been amended.

Form 15H is for senior citizens above 60 years.Fro each Year it should be filed with the bank

06 February 2014 For non senior person it is form 15G and for senior person it is form 15H which must be submitted to the bank mostly in moth of april every year.
