Addition of taxable service

23 November 2016 hello,
one of my clients already registered with the service tax department for one service, now they have started another service, how can i help them in this situation, plz explain procedure for amendment under service tax.
another question is how to advice the client in regard to whether it is good to do both services with same registration or they have to take separate registration for new service as a different assessee, plz help

23 November 2016 You have to just file amendment application in S.Tax online login and also send the physical copy of amended ST-1 to department and get New ST-2 with new service addition.

23 November 2016 It is advisable to have both the services with the same Service Tax Registration instead taking separate registration. Else you cost of compliance will increase.

name of business also have to be changed, bcoz he is having two different services, how to issue bills, etc,,
plz suggest

23 November 2016 If the name of the business is different then you have take separate registration and issue separate invoice in the respective business name. There is no option to have two business name in Service Tax.
