Acquiring knowledge of investing in shares and stock

21 July 2013 hey i'm CA student and i'm really interested in learning to invest in shares and stock.

But i have no prior knowledge in the subject and i have never even tried to invest in the capital markets.

I would like some to advice me on where to get the necessary knowledge to start to invest in shares i.e. 1st i would wanna know where can i learn the basics from and which company's shares are more reliable and once i've learnt it, how to analyze the market trend and learn to invest in different types of investments like the futures, options and derivatives.etc

And once i've acquired the knowledge how to actually start investing.

22 July 2013 My simple advice is ... invest such money which you don't need, and you will not worry if it is lost.

Now, there are two type of analysis in stock market, one is fundamental n other is technical.

To learn fundamental analysis, please read magazine called "capital market" regularly and deeply.

To learn technical analysis, you need to go to a chartist and learn to read chart (you can't learn to read chart by self study or through any website)
