B sold 50 televisions at Rs. 15000 per television. He was entitled to commission of Rs. 500 per television sold plus one forth of the amount by which the gross sale proceeds less total commission there on exceeded a sum calculated at the rate of Rs. 12500 per television sold. Amount of commission will be? please solve hint..

Total Sales = Rs. 50* Rs.15,000 = Rs.750,000.
Total Commission = Rs.50*Rs.500 = Rs.25,000
Sales - Commmission = Rs.725,000
Sale @ Rs.12,500 per TV = Rs50*Rs.12,500 = Rs.625,000.
Base amount for addl comm = Rs. 725,000-Rs.625,000 = Rs.100,000
Additional commission @ 25% = Rs.100,000*25% = Rs. 25,000
Total Commission amount = Rs.50,000.
Total Commission = Rs.50*Rs.500 = Rs.25,000
Sales - Commmission = Rs.725,000
Sale @ Rs.12,500 per TV = Rs50*Rs.12,500 = Rs.625,000.
Base amount for addl comm = Rs. 725,000-Rs.625,000 = Rs.100,000
Additional commission @ 25% = Rs.100,000*25% = Rs. 25,000
Total Commission amount = Rs.50,000.
