10 January 2012 Market value is the saleable or marketable value of one stock, is that current market rate of the product

Net realisable value is sale value less the expenses related to the sale of materials

10 January 2012 some of the authors say that market value is the price quoted in the market net of all expenses..wouldnt that be the same as nrv ?

10 January 2012 Net realisable value will be calculated only for the damaged stock or wholly or partially obsolete or value of material declined in the market.

10 January 2012 so u mean net realisable value will be usually old stock and market value always new stock..is that the difference
