Account no. quoted in itr found to be incorrect

11 September 2015 While filing my ITR for AY2015-16 I quoted a wrong account no. by mistake. Now the ITR has been processed but credit of refund has failed. What should I do now so that I can receive the refund?

11 September 2015 All you have to do is to place a refund reissue request by login into your e-filing account and quote the correct account number with correct IFSC code.

12 September 2015 Look into your registered e mail ID where you will find an intimation u/s 143(1) from cpc, open it by putting your pan and date of birth in lower case as password. There you will find CPC communication reference number and refund sequence number. Use them to place online refund reissue request.
