About pan registration

I am not a taxpayer. But if I registered my PAN no in income tax site then any problem arise in future. Any legal oblication arise from income tax department? or Any NIL return will submit for this? Pleas reply

If you are not a tax payer there is no harm in registering your PAN on income tax website. You may file your income tax returns below taxable income. Please note that except a few cases all income tax returns are to be submitted online for which you will have to register your PAN.
