09 November 2011 how can i ensure the status of assessee other than the forth letter of the pan card
to have a legal proof ??

10 November 2011 No such other way. unless the pan card holder gives the details (except the 4th alphabet identification)

11 November 2011 sir actually we had mistake and ticked company as status of a partnership in pan application form and the pan alloted with the 4th letter C so what to do ?????????
