If an employee is joined on 17-08-2010, then for f.Y. 2010-11 what should be period for issue form 16, whether it should be for Full Year or from 17.08.2010 to 31.03.2011?

Need to issue From 17.8.2010 to 31.3.2010

Agreed. and if the emplyee was previously working smwhere else then he should obtain FORM 16 from there also for the preceeding period.
