05 August 2010 I want to know how will a person write in exam so that it will be effective, because I have tryed all methords of writing but it doesnot works plzzzzzzz somebody help me.

05 August 2010 In professional examinations you should be clear about the concepts which are asked in the questions.

For English or grammatical mistakes; no marks are deducted.

But it doesn't mean that you should not care about good English.

To make your answer impressive; you may follow :

1. Read carefully the whole question paper.

2. Mark questions to which you wish to give priority.

3. If you have some idea about the question but not sure for exact answer; write the answer in the best possible practical way. May be in two lines only. It is sufficient to qualify in CA exams.

4. For short questions; good expressions are not so important. So try to complete them as fast as you can.

5. For questions carrying high marks; at least two questions should be attempted with full utilization of your skills.

6. The presentation skills include :

(i) Use of Headings ( start this practice at the time of your study ).

(ii) Underline the most effective lines in between the answer. Never include these lines in paras. Better show them separately.

(iii) During secondary and higher secondary school studies; we used to learn Precis Writing. In case the answer is too long; make use of this skill. If you can reply the answer in this form; you will not only save your time but examiner's time also. He would be happy.

(iv) First line of your answer should be very powerful.

I give one example.

Suppose you are required to say something about audit.

Don't start with : An audit is a function of verifying transactions by an independent person.

(If you wish to score high marks; never use those words which others might be using. This is one of the reason of poor marks scored by the students when paper is easy).

Write in this way :

Previously audit was known as mere checking of past records but now-a-days; this field has developed to a great extent. Not only statutory audit,internal audit and continuous audit are conducted in the business organisations but they also require various audits which are conducted to comply with various laws e.g. excise audit, environmental audit.

Tutorials : The answer would be impressive only when you have indepth knowledge about the subject.
