can exemption under 80C can be taken for tution fees paid by assessee for adopted child?

yes allowed as it doesnt restrict u..........................

Section do not specify that child should be biological child . So presumption is deduction under clause (xvii) of section 80C can be claimed on the tuition fee of adopted child.
