2nd time e-filing

02 September 2011 Dear experts,

i've E-filed my return for 2009-10 fin.yr and sent the ack. to banglore. but within some days i received a mail stating that EPC has not received the ack.(or supposed to be rejected due to some faults.)
my doubt is - i made a mistake in I.T calculations in my E-Return. so shall i take this as a opportunity and file a new fresh return again correcting my old mistake? kindly suggest.

02 September 2011 After filing e filing the Income tax verification Form (ITRV) need to take printout and sign and send to CPC Bangalore, if you have not send then your return is cannot be processed by CPC, check the CPC for the same

03 September 2011 yes CPC wont process the return.
i failed to claim my TDS receivable in that return, so i want to take advantage of this rejection. my doubt is can i file a new return ?

03 September 2011 I suggest you you to check the Status of the Return in your login, in case it got rejected then you can file again, otherwise you need to contact the CPC and check the status
