12AB Hearing notice for the AY 2025-26

06 November 2025 We are apply for form 10AB( 12A AND 80G) before 30.09.2025. Now we got hearing notice from department. So can i response for this notice in onine or offline i.e can we go hyderabad ?

07 November 2025 Yes, you can respond to the Form 10AB hearing notice online through the Income Tax Department’s e-Proceedings portal. Physical appearance (e.g., going to Hyderabad) is generally not required unless specifically instructed in the notice.

Online Response (Preferred Mode)
- Platform: Income Tax e-Filing Portal
- Service: e-Proceedings module
- Steps:
- Log in to the portal with your trust’s credentials.
- Navigate to Pending Actions > e-Proceedings.
- Select the relevant notice under Form 10AB.
- Upload your response and supporting documents (e.g., trust deed, activity reports, audit reports, etc.).
- Submit the response within the deadline mentioned in the notice.
- Advantages:
- No need to travel.
- Timestamped submission.
- Acknowledgment receipt is generated instantly.

Offline (Physical Hearing)
- Only applicable if:
- The notice explicitly mentions a requirement to appear in person.
