At the time of deboinding from 100% EOU scheme, please confirm that deprecation charge on capital goods from start of commercial production date OR date of purchase capital goods.

22 June 2012 Refer to Chapter-6 ,para 6.35.3 of HBP VOL-1(2009-2014) ..

DEPRECIATION norms for capital goods is
4% for every quarter in first year.
3% for every quarter in second year and third year.
2.5% for every quarter i 4th and 5th year.
2% for every quarter thereafter.
