1.what is the code for u/s 200A, for interest on late payments,in challan 281,
actually i have already paid through 200, do i have to revise the challan, since i hv to revise my TDS Return??????
2. what is the column for short deduction in from 281 ????????

1. Type of payment wont have any major impact on the tds payment so, revision is not required
2. short deduction incase of TDS then you can mention TDS column only

to avoid the mistake next time under which code 200 or 400 should i put the interest & TDS paid for the intimation received u/s 200A

there will not be any problem in credit of deductee pan with this mistake. still deductee get credit. further such payments you can mentioned correct code. present challan not required amended.whether paid by own or notice by the department TDS payment will not have any affect
