My Friend taken vat registration in2004 but not start business so not file any return now he want to start business whether contine vat no.

Dear Vivek,
There is 100% chance that your vat no has been suspended by the Department due to inactivity
U should check it first prior to starting the business further if it is suspended u need to contact your local vat department
