07 October 2025 I HAVE FILED FINANCIALS, IT RETURN AND AUDIT REPORT ON 31.08.2025.
WHAT SHOULD BE MY AGM DATE & DIRECTOR REPORT DATE ?

07 October 2025 The Annual General Meeting (AGM) must be held within six months from the end of the financial year.

Considering your financial year ended on 31st March 2025, the AGM should be held by 30th September 2025.

The gap between two AGMs should not exceed 15 months.

Since you filed financials, IT return, and audit report on 31st August 2025, your AGM must be held on or before 30th September 2025 to comply with the law.

07 October 2025 The Director's Report is typically prepared and signed by the board of directors before the AGM.

The date of signing the financial statements and Director's Report usually coincides with a board meeting prior to the AGM.

The Director's Report should be included with the financials in the AGM.

Since the financials and audit report were filed on 31st August 2025, the Director's Report should be dated on or before this date or on the date of the board meeting approving these documents, which usually happens before the AGM notice is sent out.

07 October 2025 Key compliance timelines after AGM:

Filing of audited financials with the Registrar of Companies (ROC) must be within 30 days from the AGM.

Filing of annual return (MGT-7) must be within 60 days from the AGM.
