Form 26QB for last installment

This query is : Resolved

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses a common issue when filing Form 26QB for the final property installment. The user needs to deduct TDS on the remaining payment of £387,000, but the system defaults to the total stamp duty value. The advice provided is to reduce the stamp duty value proportionately for the final installment, ensuring TDS is calculated correctly on the actual amount paid.

28 April 2025 2 buyers 1 seller
total property value is 11659560
so for 1 buyer stamp duty value 5829780
I have already paid and deducted tds on amount.
now I am paying remaining 387000 as final amount but on entering stamp duty as 5829780 it is showing amount to on which tds to be deducted as 5829780 and but I have to deduct tds on 387000
please help

28 April 2025 For final installment the stamp duty value will also reduced proportionately. If the agreed value & stamp duty values are same, then the final SDV will also be 387000.

28 September 2025 Good luck.....
