This discussion addresses a common issue when filing Form 26QB for the final property installment. The user needs to deduct TDS on the remaining payment of £387,000, but the system defaults to the total stamp duty value. The advice provided is to reduce the stamp duty value proportionately for the final installment, ensuring TDS is calculated correctly on the actual amount paid.

For final installment the stamp duty value will also reduced proportionately. If the agreed value & stamp duty values are same, then the final SDV will also be 387000.
