How do I get Entrepreneur Memorandum (EM) Part-I which is required in registration of UNNATI (Extension of Service) as enclosure. Please suggest me provide how to apply.

28 November 2025 - All EM Part-I applications are now processed via the NSWS portal (nsws.gov.in). Earlier filings through state portals or G2B have been migrated.
- Eligibility:
- Applicable for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) under the MSMED Act, 2006.
- Both manufacturing and service sector units can apply.
- Documents Required:
- Basic details of the enterprise (name, address, constitution).
- Activity details (manufacturing/service).
- Aadhaar of proprietor/partners/directors.
- PAN details.
- Bank account information.
- Proof of business premises (rent/ownership).

28 November 2025 - Application Process:
- Register on the NSWS portal with your enterprise details.
- Select Entrepreneur Memorandum Part-I service.
- Fill in the online form with enterprise and activity details.
- Upload required documents.
- Submit and download the Acknowledgement Certificate (EM Part-I).
- Offline Option (State-specific):
Some states (e.g., Assam) still allow filing through their District Industries Centre (DIC) offices. You can check with your local DIC if online filing is not feasible.
