Dear Sir/Madam, We have received expiry goods from our dealer in August19 and we have to pass a credit note for the same now my doubt is whether we have to pass credit note for full amount of 11,200 or for instance goods returned by a dealer taxable value10000+CGST 600, SGST 600; please explain with example.

You need to pass credit note fro full amount ( including GST ) Circular 72/2018 dated 26-10-2018 clarifies the procedure for return of expiry goods
