08 December 2011 Is it possible for a company to file XBRL voluntarily

08 December 2011 Following 2 classes of companies have to file their financial statements in ROC from the F.Y. 2010-2011 in XBRL Format:
(i) All companies listed in India and their subsidiaries, including overseas subsidiaries;
(ii) All companies having a paid up capital of Rs. 5 Crore and above or a Turnover of Rs. 100 crore or above .

You can't file your accounts in XBRL,if you are not falling in above categories.
