what is the soluction if the service tax deposits wrong assee code. But it is group company.

18 April 2009 To avoid lengthy procedure of refund, You have to show that payment made by you as excess payment of service tax under rule 6(4)and then adjust the same to your monthly subsequent liability, in which you have deposited excess service tax in wrong assessee.

If you want to go for refund, then you have to file Form "R".
