Wrongly quoted tan by another party

06 August 2011 A party qoted TAN of my Company in his return while I have neither deducted any TDS nor file any return,But income tax raised a notice against my company for default in filing quarterly TDS return.In this regard What I do?

06 August 2011 There is nothing to worry. Make a written submission before the AO explaining the facts of the case. U can also explain that u have not claimed the TDS amount in your return.
