Wrongly put challan period

I have paid the Vat amount in the month of nov 14 for the F.Y. 2013-14. I have to pay for Aug 13 but wrongly our bank put the period Aug 14 instead of Aug 13. The bank said u can change it through sales tax off is it possible. Waiting for reply.

Yes it is possible. Write a letter to your concerned sales tax officer explaining him the issue .
