Wrongly enter tax credit tan & name

02 January 2014 Sir,

I File ITR-1 A.Y.2012-13 in this return i wrongly mention Tax credit Tan & Name

And i received intimation U/S 143 (1)

the intimation shows tax liability

please guide us what i do

02 January 2014 you can file rectifcation petition u/s 154 online.

02 January 2014 Dear Kavindra Kumar

Kindly check your tax credit in form 26 AS in income tax site if the tax credit is in your form kindly go for rectification u/s 154.
Because IT department refer form 26 AS only while issuing intimation u/s 143(1).
Hence in your account TDS was not credited so they issued the intimation u/s 143(1)
