02 June 2015 By mistake Self Assessment Tax Challan is paid as Dividend distribution tax. The Challan is Paid Online. How to rectify.

02 June 2015 within 7 days from the date of remittance, it can rectify by the bank. After 7 days, you have to visit your AO

02 June 2015 Challan is paid online how to rectify. The Local Bankers says payment is done through head office
Hence local branch is not in a possession to rectify.

02 June 2015 Actually, branch people don't know the procedure. You can leave it. Better to visit your jurisdictional AO after 7 days.

You should submit written request letter, copy of the challn copy and indemnity bond on Rs. 100 stamp paper
