can any one help me
if there is spelling mistake in Father name of the pan holder, whether there is any need to rectify it or not
or
it has no effect on pan holder

well there are effects. Often PAN is used as a ID proof wherein discrepancy with regards to father's name may cause problem (it does in case of DIN application)
So why not change the PAN details as suggested by Bharath.
