Wrong name in e-filing

hi
my fathers name is Nand Lal as per tax department ,but the return which i have filed on his behalf i have mistakingly mentioned Lal only in the Name field
Do i need to refile?Can i reload the xml without marking it as revised or can i leave it as such?

Wait for just 30-40 days. You will be intimated through your registered e-mail for any mismatch.

No need to worry. If the PAN quoted is right, then any mistake in name wont matter. I have also faced many cases like this. But all those where there was mistake in name have also received their intimations for processing of income.
