Sir I have file itr-I instead of ITR-II as Mr. is having exempted income from hra,conveyance, childern education.
What should I do?
1.Is income tax department issue notice regarding that
2. Is return is defective
It is not possible to revised return it requried receipt number.
Kindly reply us on urgent

Income tax dept, will not issue any notice.
You can file revised return in ITR-II.
Receipt No. will be available in the acknowledgment.

You are only going to claim exempted income there will not be any penalty or interest.
