Wrong bank balances

04 July 2019 We received scrutiny notice and one of the requirements was bank statement. Then we realised that the bank balance as shown in audited balance sheet is not the closing balance, but the opening balance. Now how to represent the issue? The balance doesnt not match obviously and what to do now?
