the bank account no mentioned in the ITR has been wrongly entered due to some unknown reason. The Income tax officer have a right to impose penalty to the asessee. or it can be rectified during the hearing of the case.

1)No penalty would arise due to this error.
2)if you have refund your refund may be stopped due to this, however you may rectify your bank account number once you received refund failed order to your mail,..by updating your account number in efiling website by clicking refund reissue request
3)If as of now ITR not processed same can be rectified by filing rectification return
