I'ld like to know service tax calculation and service tax rate if the service provider is a works contractor and also input tax credit available on service tax paid to sub contractor...

If Sub contractor provide service to Main Contranctor and nature of Service is Works contract then service tax is exempt in the hand of sub contractor due to mega exemption notification 25/2012 entry no 29 (h)
