31 December 2009 Sir / Madam my client is devveloper of land & constrct buildings. My question is whether he is liable to take VAT Tin No. & He has deucted TDS on Works contract, how he can pay it to government tresury withought TIN no in maharashtra

31 December 2009 Sir, Thanks for Your reply, But as required by u my client is Private Limited co. As VAT is not applicable it has not takent TIn No, But it had deducted TDS on works contract. My question is how he make the payment of TDS to government tresury without TIN no in form 210, because Banks ask for TIN no. while accepting payments from customer.

02 January 2010 on going through your question, u must take vat registration , except it is exempted by your state governemtn. however asregards the payment of advance wct, u have to fill the challan and put the tin no of the [arty whom wct u have deducted, if there is any provision for advance wct.
