03 June 2014 we have raised labour bill of rs 20,00,000 to other party, are we fall under works contract, if so what is the procedure to execute, and we do not have works contract number, what are the consequences?

06 June 2014 If there is no use and transfer of any material along with the labour work,there will be no necessity for a registration under VAT laws.Doing pure labour work does not fall under work contract category...mjk
