WORK CONTRACT TAX

06 January 2011 Someone told me that minimum 1000 labour must be there to term a contract as works contract .Is it true? I never seen this type of conditions in WC Act. Please help me to solve my confusion.

08 January 2011 IN WCT (VAT) the is no such type of condition, It may seems that the employer/Contractee fixed this condition.

11 January 2011 no, there is no such a type of conditions at all..

currently in my company not much labour like 1000 n all... still we having WCT(VAT) & We leaving WCT i.e. vat@ 12.5% on 75% of work completion/gross value etc.....
