14 July 2009 we are manufacturar exporter
we have choosen the self sealing option of export shipment as per the excise rules
and submitting the document to the excise departmen regularly

if we failed to submit it within 24 hrs within the working days

we failed approx 5 days
is there any panelty or fine on that

pls advice

17 July 2009 As per rules & regulation, you have to submit within 24 hours. If not, penality will be borne. You should have even call him over the phone and should tell about the self sealing, and will submit with 1-2 days, it would be somewhat helpful.
