11 July 2015 Is printing of flexi coming under vat or service tax

Because my client have flexi printing machine and he got 10000 flexi boards orders from a big company in work order the company mentioned as purchase order

So my client purchase all flexi material and iron frames, and prepared 10000 flexi boards and gave invoice to company with 5% tax

So please let me know the above case will come under vat or Service tax

11 July 2015 Well. It comes under the definition of 'Works Contract'.
I.e, if any there is any transfer of property in the form of goods during the execution of the 'work' is covered in a contract, then it would be regarded as a 'Works Contract'.

If it is a composite contract, then, both Service Tax and VAT s applicable.

Also, it is a naturally bundled service.
