But normally
Retailer is the persn who sells goods directly to customer,
and wholeseller person (other then producer) who sells goods
to any retailer or
to other wholeseller.

Verify the sale bills of assessee. If the sale is directly to the consumer then it is a retail trade and if the sale is to shop, stockist, then it is wholeseller.

In other words, if the purchaser is the 'end user' it is a retail transaction other wise it is wholesale.
