17 September 2013 LTD CO 'A' MADE SALE TO ITS CUSTOMER A,B,C & D & ISSUED TO PAY BUILTY TO THEM FREIGHT PAID BY A,B,C,D TO TRANSPORT BUT DEDUCTED FROM PAYMENT MADE TO CO 'A' AGAINST SALE AMOUNT PAYMENT. WHO RESPONSIBLE FOR SERVICE TAX DEPOSIT

IF CO WHY --EVEN FREIGHT NOT PAID BY CO

20 September 2013 Service tax would be payable by the person who is making payment to transporter, Since Lr is on To pay basis & freight paid by Consignee .It depend upon contract,

21 September 2013 ltd company usally give credit note to its customer against freight paid on to pay builty by customer to transport but claim this amt from ltd co bcz while make payment to ltd co by its customer they deduct freight amt & ltd co gives credit note to its customer by freight amt debit & credit to its customer now kindly tell who will deposit service tax
