If an Individual has earned income from
1 Salary 2. Rental Income from Residential Property 3. Income as Commissionn from LIC. Then which ITR Form shoild be opted to file the Return of Income for the A.y 2016-17. Plz Guide...

ITR 2 if commission income is income from other sources,
if professional income then file ITR 4

Earlier I had file it in Form 4s but Assesing Officer declared it as defective u,/s 139(9) saying that 6provisionsnof section 44ad are not applicable in this case and asking to compute and profits and gains under normal provisions.
Now what should be done.

File form ITR 2 it should not be a problem.
