we recd today (14.06.13) a bill of professional fee Rs. 40000.00 bill dt.20.05.13 plz advice me which date applicable for tds deduction.

14 June 2013 Incase you already paid any advance to the party then TDS need to deduct the date of advance paid. if advance is not paid, now 14.6.13) you can book the bills and deduct the tds today
