If you have once read Singhania, then I will suggest you to not to change the book now. Instead of that make summarised notes from that book which will help you at the time of revision.

With little time left in exams, a new book will just make you confused. I also agree that Manoharan is easy to understand, still Income tax is not a small subject. My suggestion is you should buy some class notes of any teacher like Ajay Jain, and understand those chapters with help of these. It will give you better confidence. Switching over from one book to another will just give confusion. But still if you feel that you should go for Manoharan then try to not to mix both. Just do those chapters which are confusing for you from Singhania.

Here's a quick take on your tax book dilemma for CA Group 2:
1. Singhania vs. T.N. Manoharan Singhania:
Great for in-depth theory and detailed understanding.
Favored by practicing CAs and those who want comprehensive knowledge.
Can be a bit heavy and tough for quick revision.
T.N. Manoharan:
Known for simple language and clarity.
More student-friendly, especially for conceptual clarity and quick grasp.
Good for first-time learners or those needing easier explanations.
2. What’s best for you? If you’ve already studied Singhania, don't switch books entirely now.
Instead, make concise notes from Singhania and refer to Manoharan only for chapters you find confusing.
If you haven’t started seriously or feel stuck with Singhania, Manoharan can be easier to handle.
3. Additional tips Consider buying class notes from reputed teachers (like Ajay Jain) to supplement your study.
Practice lots of past papers and mock tests.
Focus on understanding concepts clearly rather than cramming.
4. Summary Book Best for Singhania Detailed study & practicing CAs T.N. Manoharan Easy understanding & students
If time is short and you have only Group 2 to clear, I’d recommend sticking with what you know (Singhania) and using Manoharan or notes to clear doubts.
